2010 Harvest Festival Happenings

The 1st Annual “Rosetown Harvest Family Festival” commenced with Bank hosted events during the day from Monday to Thursday. Friday featured a Celebrity Pumpkin Carving and Lunch at the Legion and in the evening an outdoor movie sponsored by Prairie Center Credit Union and a spectacular Fireworks display sponsored by Western Sales.

On Saturday, the day started with a Pancake breakfast and after a very enjoyable Parade, the Market and Quilt Exhibit’s opened. Main Street took on a Carnival atmosphere with loads of Kids Activities , Street Displays, Street Hockey, Chili Cook Offs, RCHS Football team’s BBQ’s and Donut Truck. The Cowboy Poet “Jack Humney” performed at the Museum. Saturday evening diners enjoyed the Lions BBQ Beef dinner at the Elks Hall followed by a performance by Residuals Celtic Band.
